T20 Cricket World Cup

England’s first game today. Windies having an absolute mare at the moment. 44-6 off 10 overs, but they could still make it respectable.
England still have a chance to mess it up though, I am sure…

These grounds look hard to score on. Tgey should be looking for ones and twos.

Think they were decent in Sharjah but average elsewhere.
We should make it look easy from here, but the 2 pitches today look a bit fucking shit for a world cup.

All out for 55 in less than 15 overs. 4-2 for Rashid.
Great bowling or piss poor batting? Leaning toward piss poor batting, but England were clinical.

Well, we are doing our best to fuck it up.
On a side note this ball totally looks like it’s touching the ground. Not sure what they’ve seen to suggest his fingers are underneath it, even with the soft signal as out.

I think the best you can say is that t20 is the SHORTEST of the international formats. Always think its a variation on a fairly limited theme. A bit of fun but not really cricket.
Said before that having played the tail end of the IPL on these pitches , which arent the most lively to start with, they will be pretty tired by the time they get to the latter stages. Which probably favours India

Does anyone know how Griff and OM’s main man DERNBACH got on bowling for Italy against Germany? I don’t have any internet at the moment so can’t check.

A pyjama party in the humidity of the Middle East?
Nah.
It's for clowns. I'll just watch the highlights every morning and leave it at that. Any one of six teams could win this - once they get to the knockouts, it just depends which thuggish slogger has the best day.

So with whats happened this morning, does this mean de kock is a massive racist who hates his black teammates, or does he just not like being told he isn't allowed an opinion on whether or not he should kneel?
Politics in sport is always bollocks.

It’s obviously somewhat of a warmer potato to Saffas but to not have the choice is absolute bollocks and FairPlay to QDK.
Not that they needed him though with Simmons playing it like a test match.
